Our Greatbatch Medical molding approach of encapsulating more than twenty components into single-molded subassembly provides reduced customer inspection and a simplified customer manufacturing process. The other advantage is through the molded header with optional external wire channels. This simplifies the customer processes and allows them the option of installing wires post-molding, eliminating need for epoxy overmold. It also provides a single vendor for multiple components.
