CLARENCE, N.Y.—Greatbatch Medical announced today it is a sponsor for the International Neuromodulation Society’s 9th World Conference. The conference titled “Neuromodulation at the Neural Interface” will be held from Friday, September 11, 2009 through Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Grand Hilton in Seoul, South Korea.

Greatbatch Medical will present an abstract titled “Requirements for the safety and compatibility of MRI for patients with a neuromodulation device; Progress report on behalf of the ISO MRI Joint Working Group,” on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 11:20 a.m. The abstract will address the ISO working group’s viewpoint on MRI-conditional devices and the need for such devices in the neuromodulation field.

Other Educational sessions will touch on various topics including Spinal Cord Stimulation Gastrointestinal Stimulation and Depression.
