Company History

Precimed started life as the high precision cutting tool division of a world renowned Swiss watch-making group. Precimed became an independent private entity back in 1988, leveraging that culture of manufacturing excellence to bring world-class products to a new industry. Now with over 20 years’ experience in the medical field, Precimed has been recognized as worldwide leader in medical instrumentation excellence.

Precimed’s USFDA-registered manufacturing facilities opened in 1998. In 2002, the United States headquarters was expanded to include Customer Service and Research and Development. In 2003, a new US production facility in Indiana was opened, dramatically increasing the capacity and capabilities of US production.

Precimed’s worldwide sales and support service reach throughout Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and India.
